About the association
Built around our export community.
The Japan Ghana Exporters Association brings together Ghanaian exporters based in Japan. We work to strengthen cooperation, share useful trade information, and represent the community’s interests in both countries.
Our objectives
Bring exporters together
Promote unity and knowledge sharing among Ghanaian exporters across Japan and Ghana.
Represent the community
Engage Japanese and Ghanaian government and trade institutions on issues affecting exporters.
Share practical knowledge
Provide education through seminars, briefings, and trade updates.
Encourage transparency
Support clearer information about pricing and business practices in the export trade.
Support compliance
Promote awareness of export regulations and the requirements that businesses need to meet.
Recognise exporters’ contribution
Highlight the role of Ghanaian exporters in the trade relationship and Ghana’s economy.
Connecting two countries.
Ghanaian-led businesses in Japan source, inspect, consolidate, and ship goods to Ghana. Their work connects Japanese trade hubs such as Yokohama, Nagoya, and Kobe with Ghana’s ports at Tema and Takoradi.
